I bought an XS on a whim (I’m usually XS or S and have a smaller waist and larger waist/thighs, shorter legs and longer torso) and it fits perfectly. I find this item runs large but super comfortable and lightweight with pockets on both sides. No adjustable drawstring on the waist band but thick band which is flattering
